I have been searching everywhere for some barstools to go in my condo at the breakfast bar and I finally found the winner. Its got a nice wide seat so your bum can fit on there with comfort and foot rest is in a good position. The seat is a little on the firm side, but I am sure with time it will soften up a touch. I love that it is adjustble(with handle). I started with one because I was concerend with the color on the computer but when it got here it was accurate as was dipicted. I am going to buy 2 more and would definately say its worth the buy...Plus free shipping...cant beat that!

I love everything about this chair. The connection of the leg to the base is slightly wobbly, but as long as you are not trying to use the chair for acrobatics and/or crazy parties its not that noticeable. I wouldnt try to rock on it, but then again that is not what this chair is for. The hydrolic lift works GREAT and the foot rest is in the perfect location. The height adjustment range is great as well. I use it at my breakfast bar but It would work with a little higher surface as well. I will be ording two more.

About 3 or 4 years ago, I bought 3 of these stools without backs and 3 with backs. I recently moved to a larger house and need more stools. I'm going to buy 7 more (with backs) because the stools I already have had held up very well, are comfortable, and attractive. The fabric is good quality and spills clean up easily (I had my stools fabric-protected with Guardsman). The only problem I've had is the foot rest fell off one of the stools when we were loading it during the move to the new house. Also, at the old house, they scratched my laminate flooring. At the new house, they're on ceramic tile flooring and I haven't noticed any scraping yet, but to be safe, I'm thinking about gluing felt (or something like that) on the bottoms. I suspect most people wouldn't need to move them around as much as I do so perhaps it wouldn't be a problem.
